Butter Cookies (because it's an easy favourite!)

Do I need a knife: No!


  • 375g flour
  • 200g sugar
  • touch of cinnamon
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 250g butter (or margarine)

Preheat oven to 180C (360F).

Mix all ingredients together by hand in a bowl (leave a little bit of egg yolk for later!). Once the dough is firm, cover counter top with flour, place dough on countertop and use a rolling pin to flatten to about 4mm thickness. 

Cut out different shapes depending on season for your cookies. Place on baking sheet and using a brush lightly cover the dough with egg yolk. 

Place in the oven for 8 minutes.
